You’ll Never Guess How Many Calls Are Made On WhatsApp Everyday
WhatsApp is the king of instant
messaging, WhatsApp calling feature has already seemed to have more than
reasonable success. With more than 1,000 million active users, daily it
originates 100 million calls from WhatsApp, which would be the same, 1,100 calls per second.
WhatsApp introduced voice calls in March 2015, first
with the invitation and then for everyone. WhatsApp’s calling feature
performance was somewhat unstable at first but now it offers a fairly
stable service, with less internet consumption. The report also said
that WhatsApp calls have been giving tough competition to its competitor
Skype, as the competitor skype only has 300 million active users.
As per the data from WhatsApp blogpost. The maximum numbers of users of WhatsApp are from India. Approximately, 95%
of smartphones users use WhatsApp in India and the app itself also has a
setting that helps to diminish the quality of the call to reduce the
bandwidth consumption.
The WhatsApp has announced that they have already reached 100 million voice calls a day
, or what is the same more than 1,100 calls per second. “Today, more
than 100 million voice calls are made every day on WhatsApp – that’s
over 1,100 calls a second! We’re humbled that so many people have found
this feature useful, and we’re committed to making it even better in the
months to come.” WhatsApp said in the blog post.
WhatsApp has made efforts to offer
improved services to its users if we take a look at its latest WhatsApp
beta version that is 2.16.188 it includes a “Quick Quote” feature that somehow works similar to some online forum sites. WhatsApp is also working on adding GIF’s feature. “Quick Quote” feature is officially available to all WhatsApp users.
